A program of such an ample scope as Bécalos demands a commitment to honesty and transparency in its administration.
To guarantee this each year is audited by KPMG Cárdenas Dosal S.C. According to its most recent report: the financial statements present: Within reason, in all of its most relevant aspects the financial situation of the trust fund F/2001089 Bécalos to December 31, 2009 and 2008, and the activities that modified its financial recourses and the cash flow for the years ending in those dates, in accordance with the Mexican Financial Information Regulations.
The Bécalos trust fund was created in 2006; it manages and concentrates all the recourses. It’s stipulated by the Technical Subcommittee that 100% of the recourses be used for scholarships, the programs administrative and operation costs are covered by the Mexican Bank Association and Fundación Televisa.
Another regulation for the allocation of recourses to the education institutions is that they have the obligation to update the database of their scholarship recipient every six month.

Los recursos recaudados durante Bécalos 2010 por las aportaciones de los ciudadanos, Amigos de Bécalos, y los bancos aliados ascienden a $123,288,287 pesos. Gracias a estas aportaciones, este año lograremos apoyar a más de 28,000 maestros y alumnos alcanzando la cifra acumulada de 113,632 beneficiarios. |
